There are several ways to earn real money online that range from creating your own products and selling them to selling other people’s products to earn money.
There are many legitimate ways to make money online, you just need to stay away from the scams.
If a program pays you for the sales that you make, then it is not a scam.
If a program does not pay you for your sales, then it is a scam.
Some people make the misconception that just by joining any program, it will pay you.
This is not the case, there are things that you are required to do as an affiliate for those products or services like selling them so that you get paid.

10. Using Smart Phone Apps To Make Money
Using Apps to make real money online is at the bottom of the list because it pays the least amount.
Many of the apps are fun to use and usually have some kind of useful function like counting your steps for fitness to playing games, but only pay out pennies.
What many people like about many of these apps is that some of them run in the background like the step counters and before you know it, you can earn $10 to $15 dollars in a couple of months that you can redeem for a gift card.
I don’t personally make money with apps myself anymore, however, I did have one of the step counting apps running for a few months and I did cash out a gift card for $20, so I know they do work.
Update: I just turned it back on, and I am using it again… (need to get into better shape)
9. Using Instagram To Make Money Online
I’ve had my Instagram account for a while now, and when it was very popular for marketers a few years ago, that is when it was helping to build me a list to earn some sales with.
Today, I noticed that I do still get leads through Instagram, it is not as powerful and easy as it was to make money with the methods that used to work.
Instagram used to be easy to build a following and easy to get people to see your posts so that they can check out your profile with your link, but Instagram made it much harder for the average person to get any traction and engagement with the current algorithm changes that they made.
You will have to spend a TON of time and focus on just building your Instagram account to earn any money.
However, if you are in a niche that many people normally visit Instagram for, like traveling and food there are still big money opportunities there.
Also, being creative with your images and video posts are a big advantage.
Some people with bigger followings use their profile to promote other profiles for a fee.
This would be another way to make money with Instagram.
I believe there is an opportunity for success in this platform, but it is not for me anymore.
8. Using Pinterest To Make Money Online
If you have a DIY or are in a niche that uses images to really highlight the products that you are selling, then Pinterest might be a great option for you.
Even those that are creative with there marketing and create images that would highlight a niche that is not so image-driven like blogging, or how-to guides on digital marketing can really drive some great traffic to their sales pages.
However, some of the most successful people that use Pinterest are the ones that market to people that are frequent Pinterest visitors which are people that are looking for ideas like:
- recipes
- make-up tips
- gardening tips
- weight loss ideas
- etc…
There are also people that use creative images to break into several niches to sell through their Amazon business affiliate links to make sales with Pinterest.
Some people that really utilize Pinterest in there marketing make $1,000’s per month and more.
I personally only use Pinterest to highlight my latest blog posts and to share any videos that I produce.
I do generate a decent amount of traffic from Pinterest when I do this but it is not mind-blowing.
But hey, everything adds up which is the point and the more you post, the more it will add up.

Using existing websites is a great way to make real money online.
The only disadvantage is that you don’t get any training or advice on how to promote these pre-existing websites that you can earn money with.

You will have to learn how to market online before you can really take advantage of making money with this method in my opinion.
First, you will have to join any or all of these websites for free, then set up your profile and payment details, then you can choose one of the thousands of pre-existing products (mostly eBooks, and software except for ShareASale) in their marketplace to promote and make sales with.
This is a great way to make money online, but only after you get more marketing experience in generating targetted traffic.
Once you gain more experience, you can add some of these products from existing websites to make even more money from your existing marketing.
For example, if you are blogging in a weight loss niche, you can add a “how to lose belly fat” eBook from ClickBank to your blog with some banner ads.
People will click on your banner ad and some people will purchase the eBook that will result in a commission for you.
You can even have a free simple guide to give away to help build your list and then offer a related product that you can get paid for when someone buys a copy.
6. Using Facebook To Make Money Online
There are a few ways to make money on Facebook.
I have included these 3 things:

Facebook Business Page
Others build out a Facebook business page, and by doing the same things that you do to promote yourself in the social following section, the same great results will start happening.
You can also tie in Facebook paid advertising to track down targetted people that would be interested in what you have to offer.

You can also make money on Facebook by joining their advertising portal.
When you can create ads to serve people that are interested in what you have to offer, the amount of people that you can show your ad to is immense.
You can literally get 100’s of people per minute to your website if you have the budget for it which leads me into the downside of Facebook ads.
If you don’t know what you are doing, and if you don’t understand how to niche down to find your target audience of people that would be interested in what you are offering, then you can really lose a TON of money just testing things out to try to figure the platform out.
There are many courses online to help you out in this aspect, and I would highly recommend you get your hands on some before even trying to advertise with Facebook.
However, if you can figure a lot of it out, there is a TON OF MONEY that you can make from the Facebook advertising platform because there are so many people on Facebook to advertise to.
5. Using PPC To Make Money Online
Using PPC advertising (pay-per-click) is one of the most known ways that people learn about the subject of how to make money online which is still very popular today.
The first thing that people will think of is Google PPC, but there are also other platforms that offer this same style of PPC advertising.

- DuckDuckGo

The concept is all the same which includes creating a relevant webpage, then creating a compelling ad, adding the targetted keywords, and sending the clicks produced by your ads to your webpage.
Your webpage is what is doing the selling for you, so hopefully, your target audience and your website sales message copy and call to action produce enough sales to get you a positive ROI (return on investment).
People that are good at using PPC make a ton of real money online.
In many cases like using Bing, you don’t even need to use your own website, the ad platform lets you use your affiliate website which I wouldn’t recommend since what you will want to do is build a list so that you can follow-up with people to earn more sales.

The way that I use Youtube is by publishing videos that target certain keywords for offers that relate to the videos that I create.
This way I know that the viewers are interested in what I have to offer which will increase my opt-in rate and will increase my sales.
This is one of those platforms where you can create content that can produce targetted traffic for you for years unless Youtube suspends your video or account.
Youtube is one of the best ways right now to generate targetted and the most engaged traffic that can make you sales.
If you are not using Youtube as part of your marketing strategy right now, then you are leaving a TON of money on the table!
3. Using Email Marketing To Make Money Online
Email Marketing to make real money online is one of the most effective ways to make a sustainable recurring income online.
You can either pay for what is called “Solo Ads” that are basically “other people’s email list” so that you can get an email sent to other peoples list to get a certain amount of clicks to your link that you pay for.
The link that you want to provide is a link to a capture page that will collect emails.
When you find some great solo ad providers that will provide you with a targetted list in the offer that you are promoting, you can make a ton of money by using this method.
In turn, you are building your own list so that you can follow-up with to present the same offer and other related offers so that you can earn passive and even more money online.
The trick to getting a higher sales ratio with your email list is to take care of your subscribers by mixing in value in the form of video tutorials from you, and free training or guides on the niche that you are promoting along with promotional emails.

One of the biggest foundational methods that I preach about is to create a blogging website that covers topics and reviews on the niche that you are wanting to make money in.
This is another method of making real money online that will create long-term traffic from one piece of content just like making money with Youtube.
This beats out Youtube in my opinion (for a long-term strategy) because you actually own your website and content, unlike Youtube where for whatever reason, they can take down your video and channel at any time (which happened to me many times in the past).
Youtube is better now, but still, you need to be careful with what you promote and what you say in your videos.
The downside to blogging is that it takes a TON of time to get your blog established in Google so that Google will see it as an authority site.
When your blog becomes an authority site, it will result in much better rankings.
However, if you have the patience and don’t mind writing a ton of content, then this method really can stand out among the rest for the methods of building a long-term and sustainable online money-making business for you.
I use my blogs to earn real money online by adding ads that drive my visitors to capture pages to build my list where I promote offers and value.
I also ass Adsense ads to earn Adsense revenue from Google and other places to some of my blogs.
Another way I use my blogs is to establish myself as an authority in my niche that will establish a trust that will, in turn, result in a higher opt-in percentage and more sales.

The only con that I found with these programs for people is that it requires a 1-time cost to become a reseller.
