Still not sure how affiliate marketing works? I know it can be a little tricky to understand. Here’s a simple way to break down step-by-step how you can make money from affiliate marketing.
Step 1: You place an affiliate link on your website or social media post.
Step 2: A visitor clicks on your affiliate link and is taken to the advertiser’s website.

2. Build trust with your audience. You’ll want to promote products that you already know and love. This means you should only promote quality products to your audience. This can help maintain the quality of your brand and recommendations.
3. Choose products that match your niche. If your audience is affordable fashion for moms, you probably don’t want to start promoting expensive designer products. Your audience will lose trust in your recommendations because they are interested in affordable fashion, not designer products.
4. Be patient. Affiliate marketing can be a great way to make money online, but success doesn’t happen overnight. No matter which platform you use, it takes time to build an audience. Once you’ve built your audience, then you can engage and educate them about the products you want to promote.
